Live-album dat in 2006 verscheen n.a.v. het 25-jarig jubileum, dat vergezeld gaat van een compleet concert (met een deels andere setlist) op DVD. De CD bevat opnamen van een concert in Italië, 7 oktober 2005, de DVD werd 10 dagen later opgenomen in Parijs. "In 1981, the Yellowjackets began an odyssey that has made them one of the most popular contemporary jazz groups. "Twenty Five" splits modern day jazz right down the middle, especially in the area where contemporary styles of the 1970s ebb and flow into modern day smooth jazz stylized instrumentals. Founding members Russell Ferrante (kb) and Jimmy Haslip (b) have done a superb job of keeping their vision together. Their style of music falls somewhere between mainstream jazz, R&B and pop initiatives. On top of all that, the Yellowjackets are the last of an uncompromising breed.
