Deze derde box belicht de laatste drie seizoenen van het roemruchten Duitse popmuziekprogramma, dat daarna verder ging onder de naam Musikladen. Alle uitzendingen bevatten inmiddels uitsluitend live (in de studio) gespeelde muziek - steeds heerlijk droog en transparant geregistreerd. De beelden zijn vaak voorzien van heerlijk psychedelische effecten, wat toen technische hoogstandjes geweest moeten zijn. We zitten in de hoogtijdagen van de progressieve rock, wat een aantal bijzondere optredens tot gevolg heeft van topnamen uit dat genre, zoals Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Yes, Soft Machine, Caravan en King Crimson. Vooral dat laatste optreden is bijzonder door de aanwezigheid van de zonderling-geniale percussionist Jamie Muir, die maar kort in de groep zat. Ook krautrockgroepen Amon Düül II, Popol Vuh, Can en Kraftwerk zijn te zien. Aflevering 76 staat grotendeels in het teken van Nederland, waarbij drie stromingen worden belicht: progressieve rock (Earth & Fire), bluesrock (Livin' Blues) en pop (Mouth & MacNeal).
