Kylie vertelt: 2013 was a year of big change, planning and preparation for me and Im so excited that 2014 is finally here so I can share this new music. Into The Blue is really special to me as it en capsulates a lot of what Ive been feeling. Het album Kiss Me Once werd opgenomen in zowel Amerika als in Engeland met top producers als Pharrell Williams, Greg Kurstin (van o.a. The Bird and The Bee, op Sleeping With The Enemy), Metrophonic, Cutfather, MNEK en Ariel Rechtshaid (van de band HAIM, op If Only). Na Minogue´s album Abbey Road Sessions (2012) laat ze nu horen dat Kiss Me Once een duidelijke terugkeer is naar de dansvloer. Kylie en Sia schreven en produceerden samen het titelnummer.
