"Op 10 januari 2015 kwamen een enorme hoeveelheid artiesten tezamen in de DAR Constitution Hall van Washington om het leven en de liedjes van Emmylou Harris te vieren. Harris zit ruim 40 jaar in het vak nadat ze in 1973 door Chris Hillman aan Gram Parsons werd getipt - de rest is historie. Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin, Sheryl Crow, Rodney Crowell, Steve Earle, Vince Gill, Patty Griffin, Chris Hillman, Iron & Wine, Alison Krauss, Kris Kristofferson, Daniel Lanois, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, Buddy Miller, Conor Oberst, Mavis Staples en Lucinda Williams zijn een paar van de namen uit die niet geringe lijst en ook Emmylou Harris zelf komt uiteraard een paar nummers meezingen.
