Imaginings (1993)

Heruitgave van een historische ontmoeting tussen de Amerikaanse celliste en componiste Frances-Marie Uitti en de Engelse componist Jonathan Harvey (1939-2012). "Imaginings" bestaat uit een reeks fragmenten van een improvisatie voor cello en synthesizers. "Although taken from a single and spontaneously-conceived creation, each selected extract concentrates on particular musical ideas and timbric sources. The result is a collection of eerie and evocative sonic landscapes that explore a variety of innovative and often surprising techniques.
