"Gandalf is a musician, composer and producer, born and living in Austria near the City of Music, Vienna. He is a musical poet. In his delicately structured compositions, mostly without words, he is telling tales full of magic and fascination, tales of joy and sadness, love and universal harmony. The language of his music is international and made him earn recognition from far beyond the borders of his homeland. Gandalfs work is inspired by Classical Music as well as Ethnic Music from different cultures. He blends a multitude of instruments like piano, acoustic and electric guitars, mandola, sitar, saz, balaphon, cello, flutes, oboe and various percussion with spherical keyboard-sounds.
