" Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande (born 7 October 1960) is a Hindustani classical music vocalist from Mumbai. She belongs to the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana tradition. Ashwini?s musicianship is characterized by a blend of tonal sweetness coupled with vitality and emotion and raga structure-architecture. On this CD recorded Live at Kufa Gallery , London, November 1996 are three traditional pieces. The Raga Ahir Bhairav and Raga Jaunpuri and the devotional Kabir Bhajan" (wikipedia -liner notes)
