”Captured live at the Manchester Apollo, 31 miles south of Jon Anderson’s home town of Accrington, the ARW Yes celebrate its legacy with this storming capture of their recent gigs. Whereas Steve Howe’s Yes seek out the ornate and fastidious aspects of the group, this half seem more Reservoir Dogs than …Topographic Oceans; a thundering almost garage-like celebration of Yes’ history propelled by the powerhouse of Lee Pomeroy on bass and Lou Molino III on drums. ARW approach the material through a rock rather than a prog lens, enabling Trevor Rabin to up the shredding quotient and cape-sporting Rick Wakeman to grandstand. The keytar/guitar battle in Owner Of A Lonely Heart works because – while fully realising the ridiculousness of two old boys doing such a thing – there is a joyous sense of “taking it seriously.” Jon Anderson, of course, adds pixie-dust to the occasion. There is little doubt what his mysticism and stage presence bring to the party, and he seems delighted throughout.” (RecordCollector)
