Johnny Mercer’s "Red Sails In The Sunset" undergoes an inspired soulful rearrangement to resemble an outtake from, say "Beautiful Vision" or "Common One", Bill Haley’s "Two Hound Dogs" has considerably more bite than the original, and Louis Jordan’s "I Want A Roof Over My Head" struts magnificently.
