Luisa Sello werd in 1955 geboren in Udine (Italië). Zij studeerde in Italië en Frankrijk (Parijs) naast fluit ook hedendaagse en barokke uitvoeringspraktijk. Een korte periode speelde zij in het Teatro alla Scala in Milaan o.l.v. Riccardo Muti. In haar solocarrière trad zij op met o.a. Alirio Diaz, Bruno Canino, Trevor Pinnock, Philippe Entremont en gerenommeerde ensembles. (naar wikipedia)
