Trumpet concertos

Deze CD is vooral bijzonder door het concert van Stamitz. Het is gereconstrueerd uit teruggevonden manuscripten door Alan Boustead en dit is de CD-premiere. Het is overigens niet 100% zeker dat Stamitz de componist is. Het zou ook van J.G. Holzbogen kunnen zijn, maar muziekwetenschappers vinden het aannemelijker dat Stamitz de schrijver is. Naast de overbekende concerten van Hummel en Haydn is het werk van de obscure componist Hertel een relatieve curiositeit.
