"Clarinetist Rolf Kuhn is much less well known here than his piano playing brother Joachim, but in Germany he is a extremely well regarded father figure of the modern jazz scene there. This 1975 release features some heavy hitters of the day (Gerd Dudek, Albert Mangelsdorff, Philip Catherine, Joachim Kuhn, etc.) and there's additional brass instrumentation, making this, at times, a big band. This is a creative, heavily jazz-rock-tinged work from the original era and one that fans of that sound will be thrilled to hear." (Wayside)
