De gepolijste en uiterst virtuoos gespeelde en knap gearrangeerde fusion van dit label was vooral in de jaren '80 razend populair. Gitarist Ritenour en toetsenist Dave Grusin zijn sleutelfiguren van dit label en ze delen hier het podium met o.a. David Benoit (toetsen) en Dave Valentin (fluit).
