Op "Return To Forever" is dat niet anders, zij het dat zanger Klaus Meine qua rijmelarij tot nieuwe dieptepunten zakt, vooral in het nummer "Rock My Car". Toch heeft het album ook zo zijn charmes. De messcherpe kopstem van diezelfde Klaus klinkt nog altijd als een klok; het spel van zijn kompanen is gedreven. En al wordt er geen cliché geschuwd, de songs steken degelijk in elkaar. Scorpions still are Germanys internationally most popular rock band ever in the history of music. On 11 and 12 September 2013, Klaus Meine (vocals, guitars), Rudolf Schenker (guitars, vocals), Matthias Jabs (guitars), Pawel Maciwoda (bass) and James Kottak (drums) played two fantastic acoustic sets in the open-air Lycabettus theatre of Athens. The setlist of the MTV Unplgged shows, including a total of two dozen songs, is virtually completely different from previous acoustic sets that the band have played. For this set, the band played some of the greatest classics of their career, but they also performed a few new songs as well as material that they had never played live up to then.
