Leave Home (1977)

Released only months after their debut album "Ramones", their second album, "Leave Home", contains many all-time Ramones anthems, including Commando, Pinhead, and Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment. It is the only Ramones album to go through different incarnations on its original release, due to label controversy over the song Carbona Not Glue. When Sire Records switched distributors to Warner Bros. Records Carbona Not Glue was replaced by Sheena Is a Punk Rocker. (bron: Bertus)

It's Alive (1978)

Live-album uit 1978, met 28 nummers. Met covers van o.a. "Do You Wanna Dance?" en verder natuurlijk onder meer de "Blitzkrieg Bop". "Clocking in at just under 54 minutes, "Its Alive" by The Ramones is jam-packed with classic Ramones material, 28 songs in total. The band recorded this set on New Years Eve in 1977 at the Rainbow Theater in London, in front of an ecstatic crowd. The story goes that during their UK tour 4 concerts were recorded, but the New Years Eve performance was chosen for release as a live album because no less than 10 rows of seats were thrown at the stage after the concert and it was considered the best of the performances at the venue. In 2005, "Its Alive" was ranked number 279 in Rock Hard magazines book of The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time." (bron: Bertus / MOV)

Animal Boy

Album uit 1985 waarop producer Jean Beauvoir (ex-Plasmatics) de band een poppier sound wilde aanmeten met hulp van oa synthesizers. Zo bevat de plaat een ballad met nauwelijks een gitaar. Maar ook het aan Reagan gerichte 'My Brain is Hanging'.

Twee concerten van (zeker voor het genre) acceptable beeld- en geluidskwaliteit. Dit is dan wel geen officiële uitgave, vergeleken met bijv. de DVD "Raw" valt er weinig af te dingen op het gebodene. Het in Argentinië gefilmde concert uit de laatste Ramones-tournee is qua beeldkwaliteit het best. Vele bekende Ramones-anthems passeren de revu
