(...) A period instrument performance, recorded in concert in 1993, by La Grande Ecurie et La Chambre du Roy under the direction of Jean-Claude Malgoire. There is an excellent group of soloists and a fine choral ensemble, the Choeur de Chambre de Namur (22 strong). The trombones, however, alas, do not appear to be playing, colla parte, the choruses.
