Mode beweegt in een eindeloze cyclus. In de installatie Carousel of Perspectives van Karin Mientjes (Collective Works) draaien banners van textiel langzaam door de ruimte. Ze dragen woorden en fragmenten over arbeid, waarde, circulatie en verandering binnen het modesysteem. Je bent niet alleen toeschouwer. Door je eigen woorden of tekeningen toe te voegen groeit het werk stap voor stap met iedereen die er doorheen beweegt.
Pin Your Perspective: In deze hands-on workshop reageer je op de installatie Carousel of Perspectives. Je schrijft of tekent een gedachte en plakt deze op de bewegende banners. Zo wordt jouw bijdrage onderdeel van een groeiend, collectief werk waarin steeds meer perspectieven samenkomen. Als herinnering maak je je eigen button: een kleine, persoonlijke uitspraak die jouw perspectief zichtbaar maakt buiten de tentoonstelling.

Fashion moves in an endless cycle. In Karin Mientjes’ (Collective Works) installation Carousel of Perspectives, textile banners slowly rotate through the space. They carry words and fragments about labour, value, circulation and change within the fashion system. You are not just a spectator. By adding your own words or drawings, the work grows step by step with everyone who moves through it.
Pin Your Perspective
In this hands-on workshop, you respond to installation Carousel of Perspectives. You write or draw a thought and stick it onto the moving banners. Your contribution becomes part of a growing, collective work in which more and more perspectives come together. As a keepsake, you create your own button: a small, personal statement that makes your perspective visible beyond the exhibition.
